About Urban Aspect Interiors

Interior design with clarity, structure and purpose.

Urban Aspect Interiors works with busy professionals and families who are building or renovating and want confident decisions made early, not on the run. Our focus is on functional space planning, cabinetry and joinery design, and considered interior selections that support a smooth construction process.

We believe good design is not just about how a home looks, but how clearly it is planned, documented and delivered. Our role is to remove overwhelm, guide complex decisions and provide your builder with information they can act on with confidence.

Urban Aspect Interiors is led by Malia Lindeberg, whose background spans civil engineering, builder administration and interior design. This foundation shapes a practical, builder-aligned approach where every design decision is considered in the context of how it will be built and lived in.

Rather than styling-only or last-minute selections, Urban Aspect Interiors specialises in early planning and detailed documentation. We work best with clients who value clarity, collaboration and thoughtful decision-making, and who want their home resolved before construction begins.

Projects are taken on selectively to ensure focused involvement, clear communication and a high level of detail throughout the design process.

How We Work.

Interior design support, matched to where your project is at

Every project is different. Some clients come to us early, seeking clarity before plans are finalised. Others are ready for detailed documentation and need a designer who can step in and prepare clear, builder-ready information.

Urban Aspect Interiors offers structured design support at two key stages. These services are independent and can be engaged based on what your project requires.

OPTION 1: DESIGN CLARITY & PLANNING SUPPORT

This option suits clients who are in the planning or pre-construction phase and want professional input before locking in decisions.

At this stage, we help with:

  • Reviewing floor plans and layouts

  • Clarifying interior design direction

  • Providing guidance on cabinetry and joinery at a planning level

  • Identifying potential issues early

  • The focus is on informed decision-making, not documentation.

This service provides clarity, confidence and direction so you can move forward knowing your design is sound.

This aligns with our Foundations Package.

OPTION 2: DESIGN & DOCUMENTATION SUPPORT

This option is suited to clients who are ready to finalise their design and require detailed information for pricing, approvals and construction.

At this stage, we provide:

  • Detailed joinery and cabinetry drawings

  • Finalised interior finishes, fixtures and fittings

  • Coordinated layouts for wet areas and key spaces

  • Clear documentation prepared for your builder and trades

This service can be engaged independently and does not require prior design planning with us.

This aligns with our Design & Documentation Package.

A guided but flexible process.

Not every client needs the same level of support at the same time. Our role is to help you identify the service that best suits your current stage and provide clear, structured design input without unnecessary steps.

Some projects engage us for early clarity. Others engage us solely for detailed documentation. Both approaches are valid.

We work with a limited number of projects at a time to ensure focused involvement, clear communication and a high level of detail.
